So I haven’t posted anything on here in a long while… I know… its bad. My mom told be if you have nothing nice to say, don’t say anything at all. Not saying I haven’t had anything good, because I have, believe me there have been some great stuff. But.. things haven’t been a breeze on the beach…
Tonight was weird. We went to Kat and Jon's house. They are people who are have another mission organization here. Really sweet people, they are so good to us. Tonight they invited us over for fish tacos!
We walk in to hear Christmas music. Next thing I know
I find myself peeling carrots, and the Grinch is humming in the back ground and theres a plastic tree
It was the weirdest thing. There was fish frying, cabbage chopping, the Grinch Grinching, and its 80 something outside, and I felt Christmas. It was here. I don’t know what it was.
The fish was so good, the tacos were so good, and things just… was like a huge weight off…
After the movie we were sitting around, and a girl April, she asked me to play a country song, so I played “cruise” by florida Georgia line, and everyone started singing and it just… was good.
You know and it is funny how God knows what we need and gives it to us. Not saying I was in need of this, but God has been takin care of all of us, and he gives us nights like to night, and I felt his love.
Fish, Country pop, The Grinch, Tacos, Plastic trees… and Christmas… lol I felt Christmas. God can make anything happen, lol.
